Activities
We have provided improved cookstoves in East AfricaWe have invested in a carefully selected range of offsetting projects, like this one that provides improved cookstoves in East Africa. Not only do these reduce emissions through using up to 80% less wood, but they also help reduce childhood scalds/burns and create jobs in the local economy, most of which are taken by women. All of our projects have been certified to reduce carbon emissions and have strong additional benefits including health benefits, saving low-income families money and reducing deforestation. All projects in this portfolio are Gold Standard Certified. |
