Targets
We aim to reduce our operational emissions in line with limiting global warming to 1.5°C achieving a reduction of 148 tonnes of CO2e by 2025. This includes our emissions from
- Use of fuels by 40% over 3 years
- Purchase of electricity by 85% over 3 years
- Value chain (excluding purchased goods) by 10% over 3 years
- Purchased goods by 20% over 3 years
Actions
We have committed to reducing emissions over the next year by:
- Phase out diesel cars and move hybrids to Evs
- Switch electricity purchased to renewable
- Introduce employee car scheme and consider EV salary sacrifice scheme
- Fleet renewal plan being worked on with DX
- Introduce new travel policy to reduce number of flights
- Aim to influence Top 3 suppliers to commit to calculating and reducing their emissions
